Build Your Own Project

Let's get your plan started

Two things happen here: we take your details, and we show you exactly how to film your yard. Filming takes about fifteen minutes and needs nothing but your phone.

First — how to film your yard

Fifteen minutes, just your phone

  1. 1
    Start from the street

Stand where a visitor would arrive. Say your name and address out loud once, then start walking.

  2. 2
    One clip per area

Narrate as you go: "This is the front bed — gets morning sun, stays wet after rain." Point the camera at what you're describing.

  3. 3
    Show the problems

Slow down on anything that struggles, floods, gets eaten, or you just don't like. Those are the most useful shots.

  4. 4
Photos as you finish each area

After narrating an area, take a few still photos of it before moving on. That keeps them organized for us.

  5. 5
    No measuring needed

Don't worry about measurements or being tidy. We read the space from how you walk it and what you say.

The single best thing you can do: talk the whole time. Tell us what you love, what frustrates you, what you wish grew there, how you want to use the space. Your narration is what turns a video into a plan.
Then — tell us about your property
